Dr. Zlatan Ajanovic is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at Technikum Wien. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair for Machine Learning and Reasoning at RWTH Aachen University with Prof. Hector Geffner, and a postdoctoral researcher at TU Delft with Prof. Jens Kober. He earned his PhD from Graz University of Technology. His research focuses on decision-making and control for autonomous robots, drawing on planning, learning, and control theory. He is the recipient of the IFAC Young Author Award, the Hans List Award, and the DAAD AInet PostDoc Fellowship. He has co-organized several workshops and conferences, most notably the AAAI 2025 and ICAPS 2025 workshop Bridging the Gap Between AI Planning and Reinforcement Learning (PRL), the ICAPS 2025 Workshop on Planning and Robotics (PlanRob), the ICRA 2023 Workshop on Life-Long Learning with Human Help (L3H2), the 2023 BeNeLux AI Conference, and the ICAPS 2024 Conference.
